We went on an educational study day to the BFI in London. Elaine Scarratt (Media Educator and Examiner for A2 Media Studies) presented us a variety of useful OCR assessment topics and marking techniques; influencing you to achieve the highest grade possible.We specifically learn't about representation, stereotypes, thriller codes and conventions hybridity, technical codes, audience appeal and genre development; I found this extremely useful in influencing the way I write and self-mark by work. In the afternoon there was a relevant action and adventure genre film screening, we watched Knight and Day.
