The IT Crowd - 'Italian For Beginners'

There are three main characters in the extract I watched from The IT Crowd ‘Italian for Beginners’.
1.       Roy who is a negligent, lazy Irishman who is extremely relaxed about his job as well as his personal life. His is mad about computers and video gaming as he spends a lot of his time at work playing online games. Roy is an ICT technician at the company.
2.       Mos is a technology geek who is slightly OCD; for example he likes everything from his tie and shirt to his desk to be tidy and lined up. However he can act in a dumb manner and appears to be slightly stupid when understanding simple things. Mos is an intern at the ICT company.
3.       Jen is a bright, young woman who unfortunately gets herself into awkward circumstances which she is unable to get herself out of. She also struggles to find men that like her or vice versa. Jen is the boss of the ICT company.

In the episode Mos thinks he is being clever and professional buy putting his phone in his top pocket, however he manages to unfortunately drop his phone in the toilet. This shows that he is a ‘comic’ like character.  An example of something that Roy does is he constantly makes un-necessary comments that are irrelevant to the topic; this makes him also a ‘comic’ like character. Jen unfortunately says something rude in a meeting showing that she needs to think before she speaks in the future; also making her a ‘comic’ like character. The audience is positioned in relation to each character so you can get an even overview of the entire cast showing what each individual character gets up to.
